I arrived at Kuala Lumpur International Airport yesterday afternoon, and came face to face with the longest queue I've ever seen at the airport immigration counter.
The officers at the counters moved at such a leisurely pace and they were plain grouchy.
As Tess puts it, it is service like this that allows Changi Airport to dominate the charts as the best airport around.
I headed straight to Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC) from the airport to set up my booth for the exhibition. With mu luggage in tow, of course. Thankfully, my laptop suppliers were there ahead of me and they had everything done up by the time I got there. Good boys!
That meant I had time to comb the shops with Tess in the evening.
OH! I must tell you about my hotel room at the Impiana Hotel & Spa. I'm rooming in with Tess, and to our surprise, we realised that one of the walls for the bathroom is see-thru! So we had to trust each other not to peep when either one of us was bathing or peeing.
I've got a room like that when I went to Genting Highlands with my father and two kid brothers many years back. We were given a suite because the hotel messed up our bookings. The suite was great... except the bathroom had glass walls. So everyone had to leave the room when I need to shower.
I think these rooms feeds the exhibitionist monster in me. Prim and proper rooms are boring. An injection of voyeurism is a smart move to get tourists humping like bunnies.
These hoteliers are smart, eh?
I'll write more about the whole trip when I'm back. It would be so boring to tell you about KL without pictures to show! :)
And yes, as expected, I'm missing Josh like crazy. I miss waking up with my face against his and being able to smell his sweetness. I can't wait to get back to Singapore!
We chatted a little last night before I went to bed. And it made me miss him even more.
Alright, I'll write again on Thursday!
