Last weekend, Joshie baby and I, together with almost the whole of his company, drove up to Segamat to attend a colleague's wedding.
When we entered into Yong Peng and neared Segamat, I noticed thick black smoke billowing in the distant skies.

"Someone must be burning rubber," said Josh.

All other vehicles slowed to a crawl to marvel at the burning heap. I was having fun snapping away on my camera. This wasn't a common sight in Singapore!

Then as we neared it, I realised it was a car on fire!
Whoa! It wasn't just burning rubber, dude! It was burning metal too!
Hey I risked my life to take this photo. I had to stick my arms out of the window to get this shot as Joshie drove past. The heat was so intense, I could feel it on my face. Heck, I could even hear the flames crackling!
I had meant to take another shot as we passed the front of the burning car, but it was just too hot. And I suddenly realised that there was a possibility that the fuel tank has not exploded. It could be waiting for me.
So I urged darling to drive on faster before I was made to pay for my sins of gluttony, sloth and incredible lust.
And by golly! As we passed, I noticed that the burning car was a Volvo. Bah! And they say Volvos are very safe cars. Tsk tsk.
1 blistering yaks:
Wahhh... Bon fire!
