Gah. And how I used to lament about having to travel. Humans just don't cherish things until they are lost.
This trip to Bangkok is the most sedated. I was hardly drunk. I did not have enough of fun. I did not see enough of the people I wanted to see.
There were gastronomical excitement - we had an excellent Swiss meal of cheese fondue at Chessa, a leisurely Thai dinner at the pretty Baan Khanitha Terrace and Gallery and a super cheap dinner at Thailand's food chain S&P. I took some pictures, but I will not show it.
There was quite a bit of stress at my very first overseas show as a reporter. I talked till my throat was hoarse and walked around the halls till my ankles throbbed. It is fun when I have stories to write. It is not fun when I have nothing and my fellow reporters are busy banging away at their laptops.
This is how a press room looks like - a mess of tangled wires from our laptops and shuffles of papers.
I survived every day on excellent coffee from this machine. Who would have thought that a dispensing machine made such good, strong coffee and hot choc?
In this post, I want to draw attention to these pictures. This party was the best time I had in Bangkok, mainly because I got to see the people I love. It is hardly easy catching up with friends from across the globe. Trade shows are my only opportunities.

Pity I failed to grab Rob and MG for shots too. And pity Marisa and Manna weren't there.
WHY DID I SWITCH?
I haven't had enough fun. Looks like I am still very much a marketing girl.
